Decided to try my hand at making some custom bags for my Surly Ogre.

stuff sack for my cook kit, to be mounted onto a Salsa Anything cage HD on my forkleg

Wow, great work. Everything looks awesome.
Is that the 420D Diamond Ripstop? How was it to work with? Less stiff than VX21? What did you use for Bias Tape on the tool roll?

Yes it is 420D diamond ripstop. It was very easy to work with. Not as stiff as the VX21, feels thicker and heavier than VX21 mainly due to the rubbery backing. I have a Revelate Designs bag to compare to.
I just used some off the shelf bias tape from a local fabric store...until I can find some blue nylon webbing in the correct size.
