Nothing original here, but my Mom and I just finished making a tarp tent. Amazing how light it is compared to a standard tent (and for the space, to my bivvy/mini tarp). Seam sealed it yesterday. It will see its first outing not bike packing, but backpacking with my wife and 6 month old for two days starting Monday.
