Material is 1.9 ounce ripstop nylon.
Nylon straps are 1".
Total weight 85 grams.
The nylon strap goes under the bag and is sewn to the sack at a couple of spots up each side. The opening has velcro on both sides and a nylon strap that helps to fold over the top of the bag once the sleeping bag is inside.
The problem was that my stuff sack/compression bag was almost a ball and my tent is 18" long. I wanted the sleeping bag and tent to be about the same length.
Original tent bag with the tent.

I prototype everything. I have many old sheets around and use them as I did here.

Here is the completed bag next to the tent.

Here is the bottom with the strap going underneath. It keeps tension off of the ripstop without too much of a weight penalty.

Here you can see the strap at the opening and how it rolls down.

So far I am pretty pleased. I could put out another one in an hour or so now that I've done one. I plan on making something similar for storing sleeping/around camp clothes.
