I'm looking to make some inexpensive pseudo-disposable lobster claw gloves. AKA Spock gloves. The kind of thing that you have a couple of pairs. When one gets trashed... well, it gets trashed.

I've seen some decent prices on taslan or even Goretex taslite on EBay. I wondered if anyone had any experience with those fabrics.

Lightest might be cuben fiber (has new name). Best might still be goretex.
