Anybody have idea on the start time this year, according to the Trackleader board it is at 5am. Is this correct?

My understanding is 8.00 am, but if I am looking at the live ticker board at trackleaders.com I see: "Tour Divide 2013 starts in xx days, x hours, xx minutes -- at 05:00:00 AM (MDT) 06/14/13"
Does it mean tracking will start at 5:00 am or the race itself??

I feel pretty dumb asking this but i wont be racing until 2015 and i am just not sure if i wanna ride a hardtail or full suspension if i ride a full suspension i wont have to buy a new bike but if i ride a hardtail i will have to buy a new bike. What is your guys' opinion i would reall appreciate it

Thank you guys for the feedback on the tires. Long ranger why not tubeless?  What tires did you guys use?
I am really torn on this and am just not sure if the sidewalks will be an issue.

My front small block blew off the rim while going 25mph outside silver city I was really lucky to keep it up rite!

do yourself a favor if you plan on using seal skins? dont bother there made for running rivers? Just got my rocky's all I can say is wow, think this is one of the key items I was missing in last years kit.

I will be doing the 750 if I get my bike in time.  Fingers crossed.
