Yee Haw, hoping 2021 works out for the 1000
How does one get a camping permit for the Grand Canyon south bound in late October?

Sticktoitiveness is right! Hopefully he's at least getting a tailwind out of all this weather. I was surprised no one chose to start at the state line.
I was looking at that, but windy.com shows that the big winds mainly blow from the south, but you would be able to start in late September or early October and ride towards the warmth

What happened to Paul Kudzas?
and what about all the others signed up on Trailforks? aren't they leaving it a bit late for the 1000, since snow is in the forecast already

WOW, this may even be better than the AZTR800. Any thought of making the 1000 the non-offical/official route for future races?

Hi Scott With Topofusion Pro, I am not getting very many map overlay tiles along the AZTR, just a very small scale topo map for the majority of it

any stitching technique that folds under or tapes the edges that can fray and the leaves the most worked over seam on the inside of the tank will work also to fold right side out, start at one end of the open zipper face and start pulling up the floor from that end through the open zipper (if this is really hard, then your tank fabric is probably already stiff enough that it doesn't need extra plastic)
