Hi Scott With Topofusion Pro, I am not getting very many map overlay tiles along the AZTR, just a very small scale topo map for the majority of it
Hey there, What map mode are you in? Check to make sure you have the latest TopoFusion since there were some server changes lately. AFAIK the canadian topos should still be working. Up there I'd try open cycle map or open topo map, too. Cheers!

Strange, I got a Topic Reply email for this thread. Have you checked your spam/bulk folder? Fair chance that's where they are going after the server change. Let me know if you find them or not. Thanks.

Yep, should be back for good now!
If you're getting weirdness on some links and not others try clearing your browser's cache. Or using a different browser. Those issues should gradually fade out.

Incredible that he finished in under 4 days with 17 hours of sleep (according to what I heard, didn't see the post myself). That's quick travel when he was moving. Bummer that he lost his SPOT.
Rumors are that Timon will give it another go soon.

I’m here at the Twin Lakes trailhead getting my gear packed to hike the Collegiate Peaks Loop, Corrie Smith from Anchorage just now rolled on through northbound. Her SPOT flew off of her mount on her bike at some point and is waiting for her further up the trail. She’s in good spirits and looking strong! Go Corrie!
Hiking the loop, cool. She's tracking again now thanks to Pete B passing his spot off to her.

If we are putting in requests for Trackleaders, I would love to be able to resize (zoom) both the race flow table and the elevation profile.
Sure thing, request away! All the plots should zoom and pan on a computer. Mousewheel or pinch zoom when 'focus' is on them should do it. On my Pixel phone they zoom through pinching too. Maybe drop me an email smorris@topofusion.com with the device/browser you are using. A question: Is it possible to still see the tracks (in race flow) of those riders that have scratched? Was especially looking for Sofiane's track.
Sorry, no, we pull scratches off the plot to reduce confusion. A checkbox to add them back in could be interesting though. 1. It would be great to have a visual representation of the elevetion profile in the flow chart along the miles axis. That could give a much better idea of how elevation influences speed. 2. Also, it would be nice to blend in shading to represent sunset/sunrise/night along the miles-axis of the chart to get a better feeling how night times influence riding times.
#2 - I built this in a while ago but it didn't gain too much traction. Since I have to do a little work to find and convert sunset/sunrise times I haven't been adding it to trackers, but I could for longer races like TD. #1 - It would be a little odd since elevation would be on its side, flipped 90* from what we're used to. But I agree it could be interesting to see.

20/25/30 day green flags are up. This year they are computed on average speed instead of taking representative historical data.
So... that means they never lag, but they also... never stop! Not to sleep, eat, etc.

Quite a turn of events with the weather this year. I've been watching using the 'windy' api mentioned earlier. It just went live on the main TD tracker. Reload the sucker and look for the little flag button to toggle it on/off.
Here's a current shot of the rain/thunder layer, which shows ... snow.
You can drag the bottom slider to go into the future (forecast).
Can't believe how many people are still holed up at Brush Mtn (!).

It's a real shame too the Trackleaders no longer has GoogleMap or GoogleSatalite views. It was miles better when it did. I know the reason is that Scott said it cost too much to pay the Google licence. I wonder what we'd have to pay to restore it
For the whole of TD... somewhere between $7k and $10k, maybe more since traffic is up this year. I wish those numbers were a joke. The prices went up more than 20 fold last summer, effectively pricing any tracking biz off google. The link to "show location on google maps" is as good as we can do. Scott M, is there a way of turning the "radar" layer on?
Sadly that went out with google, too. It was a KMZ layer. But there is a chance I can get 'windy' data onto our maps, which has a number of nice weather layers. Hoping to find some time for that in the next few days. Glad to see all the photos on here, Angler, and everyone's commentary. This is a good year.

Sorry about the downtime folks. We're back and Huw has finished for the 300 win!
Neil B. it out.
Mike K broke his hand but is OK; I heard from him.
Deanna also had a crash but is OK and has scratched.
Many more scratches ... it's another very tough year!
