When I was doing triathlons the drafting rule was two bike lengths, any thoughts on that? I know the start is going to be really crowded but after things thin out.

I know that everybody is different,but for me it takes carbs to keep the fat burning engine running,which works very well for this type racing. But LR is right,most important thing is don't change anything gear, bike stuff or diet right before a race!!!!

Used nanos in 2013, didn't even make it to whitefish before I ripped a side wall. Think I'll go with crossmarks EXO this time around.

Just did AZTR they were 3A as were they in 2013 TDR. They normally rent about a month out , getting close! Have no idea what generation they were but one set of batteries lasted me my whole race about 9 and a half days.

I totally agree with Mike P. About start times, I did not really enjoy the 300 people blasting by on their light rigs while I was struggling with the Canelos.

Didn't see any left open, but some of the fence gates were down and broken from rotten wood not from riders.

I guess the longest stretch for me was the Great Basin there was water but you had to move cows out of the way to get it yuk!!! Seemed like the hole rest of the way I found good water. I loved my sawyer filter and tabs for back up. That's what I'll use this year.
