Are there any 12 hour/ endurance races in your area this spring?  I trained for one this fall, then started training for a 50 mile race which I'm going to follow up with a couple more 12 hour races to train for the Divide.  I find these intermediate goals are keeping me engaged.  I love the LW Coaching plans- they are affordable and keep things fresh.  They incorporate a lot of the intervals that folks have mentioned on this thread, and long back to back days.  I did the 12 hour finisher plan this fall which is all about zone 2, and am working off a 50 mile PR plan this spring.  The PR plans also have dynamic weight lightning and lots of ab work.  Good luck training!  Keep it fresh, keep it interesting.
26  Forums / Question and Answer / Suspension seatpost options on: October 04, 2015, 08:24:25 AM
Looking for some input on suspension seat posts for the Great Divide.  I scored a Trek titanium seatpost, and might stick with that- haven't tried it yet on any dirt roads, but it seems to absorb the chatter on crappy pavement.  I'm considering the Thudbuster ST but am curious if others have had any success with seat posts like the Kalloy Guizzo seat posts- lighter, cheaper and more streamlined.  I don't have much clearance above my seatpost bag and am 125 lbs, so smaller travel is preferable.  It also seems like it would be hard to attach a seatpost bag to any of these suckers, so if you've got a picture, that'd be cool too.  Thanks!! thumbsup
27  Forums / Classifieds / I have a viscacha, want a pika on: September 17, 2014, 06:40:36 AM
Hey there, anyone want to trade a pika for a viscacha?  I have the viscacha.  In great shape cept for a few rub spots on the bottom where I hit it with my tire, completely inconsequential, I can send a pic if someone is interested in the trade.
