To everyone who has had an issue on the ride: You are awesome for two reasons!!! 1) For even starting the adventure of the TD! & 2) For getting as far as you did - even if it wasn't as far as you wanted! You are among a very few in number and are amazing!! Thank you for letting us "participate" through you!! To everyone along the ride: Thank you for the pictures and updates!!! To everyone "behind the scenes": Thank you for doing what you do so the ride can go on!!!

Tracey P: I hope you got your good coffee!! Glad you didn't hurt yourself more with the fall & are enjoying the memories as well. Jay P: What's it like being on the "other side" of the dot? How are you holding up?

Kurt & Caroline: Congratulations!! Just listened to the call-in... I would have to say that you both sound wonderful!! And if you can make it through the TD together, I would be willing to bet you'll be able to do/survive ANYTHING together!! (You have to love someone to be able to hate them! So get back to the love part!!) :-)

Interesting that Greg Strauser decided to leave the route around Kremling and take the roads to Del Norte. I've toured that on a road bike, and the GDMR is so much nicer. Smooth cruising in Colorado too. I'd rather do a GDMR tour in Colorado than make it to Mexico via those highways, but to each his own. Hope he is enjoying the ride.
I'm not sure if he's the one who's going to run out of vacation time... There was a post earlier about someone having to go roads instead due to the amount of time left... couldn't find it when I went back looking for it.

Congratulations to all who have finished up to now, to the ones who will be finishing the rest of today, and to the rest who are still out there doing it!!! :-) Thank you!!!!

To all riders: May you pass through the areas with wildfires without issues. Too many people I know being affected by both Colorado & New Mexico fires. They take off with the wind and it puts everyone at a distinct disadvantage. Anyone who fights these types of fires has my absolute respect and appreciation!! (Especially since they saved my family's cabin in Northern Minnesota last fall!!)

This is a picture of Gen the unicyclist on the starting line: Wow! Two tires would be hard enough!! Used to be able to ice skate and roller skate, now can't do either in my advanced age (the knees and ankles try to go the opposite directions)!! :-) Thanks for the picture!
