I'm not sure about the wallet sized passport card, but I made a copy and laminated it to carry along with me as well as having a copy on a flash drive. I looked yesterday at Trackleader and did not see anything at this point. See you all in Banff

I hate to ask this question, and I'm sure its gone over and over, but what tires are you using. Visiting with a TD finisher recently, the only thing he said about my bike setup was that he would not go with the WTB Nano's. He mentioned sidewall issues, and I have had one fail on my cx bike, but thought it was due to the Flint Hills gravel in Kansas, and would have happened got any tire.

I was wondering how one connects our Spot trackers to Trackleaders. On their website, this note - "Please do not sign up for race trackers (e.g. Tour Divide, Colorado Trail Race) using this form. Trail trackers are for non-race tracking only." is on their sign up page. Thanks

I'm sure it's posted someplace in the rules, but does the Grand Depart start at 12:00 noon? Thanks, Marty

TD drop boxes/care packages. What locations are you sending your care packages to? My usps suggested sending them to 'general delivery' so the boxes would be returned after 30 days. With the hours of operation a concern i was wondering what other options - bike shops/ motels. I guess there is no perfect solution, part of the adventure! Thanks

After using a solar panel on the Race Across Texas last fall I decided to go with a dyno hub set up - Schmidt. it's expensive but i found that messing with switching around the devices and dealing with low light it made the decision to go with the dyno an easy one for TD.

Paul, Thanks for the post, and all the insight into TD. I'm going in this week for a fit on the bike, Matthew Slater TD13 advised the same. Hopefully we will have better weather to the start than what TD14 had. Marty

I'm getting ready to book my flight into Calgary, planning on arriving Tuesday. I know there is a shuttle to the Y, but riding the 80 miles seems like not a bad idea. What about meeting up if flight times allow to several ride out together?

bmike, thanks for the response, and the photos. I have the stock woodchipper bars. i like where you have the gps, forward on the stem, I'll try it. No spot at this point, but not too concerned about it at this time.

flyboy, speaking of dyno hubs, i've just picked up my SON dyno hub/stansFlow front wheel for my Fargo. I'm looking for placement of devices on aerobars. I'm using cateye endure, etrex 30 and edelux light. How about posting pictures of set ups. Also, talk to me about charging devices with usb plugs, what's working?

Thanks dp, I've looked at similar set ups, while expensive, on a trip such as TD, you have to have equipment you can depend on.

Powering devices? Dyno hubs? Solar rechargers? Buying batteries along the way? What works for you? Dyno hub seems like a good option, but pricy, $1K for wheel, light, etc, but no worries about charging devices..
