Karl Wilcox called. He's out as of mile 250!

We have a call from Doug Johnson. He made it in this morning. His time appears to be 4:20:47! Stefan also made it in at 4:23:22! Incredible riding!

Yeah when I got in from the TNT it wasn't too long after 10p my time so no biggie. I can take a midnight finish once  in awhile. It's the 2am's that hurt. Relative to what these guys are doing, though, I'm not suffering.

BTW:
Andrew Carney called in from Lake City. Chuck Ray was with him. They didn’t have enough calories to move forward so they pulled into Lake City to eat. They are bailing but he may continue on to Durango on the road.

Tegan Davis called but the call was choppy. Steven Garrett’s Mom called to wish him well. And we have another cut call. Whoever it is they were headed towards Gunnison so they apparently had a problem. Does anyone know who this caller could be?

Dave Nice calls in to pull out of the race. He’s hurt his achiles. Doug Johnson calls in from Silverton with Stefan and Jefe. And Max Morris calls in from near Silver Creek. Marshal Bird and David Goldberg are with him. He’s thinks he went off-course in BV but is pushing on!

Dan Joseph called in from Princeton Hot Springs. He and Nick Thelen got a hotel room there.

I posted Robb's call from the Salida hospital. We also have some family well wishes from Cat Morrison’s sister and David Goldberg’s son who's apparently a fan of the Rocky theme!

Okay, so this is technically before Noon where they are but Marshal Bird called in from Princeton Hot Springs. He was with Max Morris, Rich Otten, and one of the Steves and Kevin Montgomery was pulling in too!

Dave Nice just called in from BV. He's nursing a bad pinky and had a seizure but he's planning to keep plugging! Go Dave! Mark Caminiti also called in from BV.

Lee Blackwell called in from Leadville. He’s pulling the plug as he spent the night in his own house. Must…resist…home! Greg Bachman has injured his hand and is pulling out. He’s having a hard time with it and there’s some swelling. Take care of yourself, Greg!

Tegan Davis called in from Buena Vista. This call is a little muffled. Rob Kranz called from BV where's he's hanging back for a bit.

Kevin Montgomery called in. He crashed hard heading down into BV. Banged his knees up. He also went off route so he may be relegated. He ran into some zoned-out, possibly tripping hiker giving Kevin the "Jeff Kirby Award" for this year’s CTR!

Calls overnight: Marshal Bird and Robb Kranz both called in from Buena Vista! Good to hear Marshal's out of that funk and moving along!
