Who is making the money profits from the Cordillera? If it is not 100% charity, it seems odd to allow soliciting on a sign up list.

Hope not Moab Cyclery.

I have to add that during the race I also had some bad customer service at mcds, wal mart and the dollar stores. Starting in Colorado. Always young employees but it was everyone at silver city wal mart. I work in tourism - Moab bike shop- u have to be kidding in how people who work in these businesses in the southwest act like punks to grown adults who have jobs families lives etc. I would be fired for treating people the way I was treated the last 10 days. I demand a lot more respect than I was given.

If you have a crossways handlebar bag, the same on the seatpost is no more air resistance. You've already ruined it up front.

My problem with Facebook (and perhaps it really is just MY problem) is that replies to threads get buried and I cannot tell when something new is posted under an existing comment.  The linear nature of the Forum here ensures that I don't miss anything.

There was a ton of race prep posting on facebook. It sucks because you can't find much when you go back unless you starting saving posts. I wonder why they don't post here for all that.

And riding without your chin straps locked is like riding without a helmet. Not good imo.

Lightest might be cuben fiber (has new name). Best might still be goretex.
