So I loaded the track on one etrex20, then loaded the same track on my back up etrex20 and one route is different than the other. I did everything the same one track seems to be shorter than the other. I'm really bad with this kind of stuff, anyone have an idea what's going on.

Everybody has opinions here is mind,I don't think brakes or rotor sizes make much difference for the TDR as long as they are fresh and in good working order. But I really don't see why anyone would want to run 27.5 tires. Tires are the most likely thing your going to need and those are going to be the hardest to find. I mean you can get 26 or 29 inchers anywhere even Walmart , the tires I'm running I don't think they even make in 27.5. The TDR you want to roll dude it's not about nimble turning and quick acceleration. Like I said it's just my opinion.

Wow! Just read Jefe's LOI. Man, he hit the nail on the head. That's why I'm doing it again. That's why training doesn't seem like training just seems like getting ready. I can hardly wait!

I didn't think I'd use my gps much in 2013 I was wrong! It saved me several times from start to finish. This year I'm taking two so I'll have a back up. Hopefully I'll remember some of the tricky parts but I'll have an eye on my gps.

Did mine in 2013 going for it again this year. Three worst experiences for me 1) Great Basin winds and running out of water 2) lightning Thunder storm in South Park 3) heat, dust and wash board roads of NM. Must not have hated it to bad sense I'm doing it again.

How does the HABing in the aztr750 compare with the CTR? I did the CTR last year and found the HABing challenging! What are some of the harder ones other than the GC? I know some of you have done both races. Thanks

I'd say tubeless is a must with slime tube back ups. I spent @ 20yrs. Riding in the Ar. Ozarks and raced some in Mo. before moving to Co. But I ride in Az. some, they have very sharp rocks that will shred your tires to bits so I'd run some burly ones. I'll be running some 950 gram tires for the 750 maybe over kill but I don't like tire trouble.

Plus you have to do a qualifying race. I did Jay's fat pursuit and loved it and thinking about the ITI for 2016 but the cost is crazy. I kinda hope Jay may put on a multi day event.

IMO to keep it fair and equal For those who are racing I think everybody should do the same thing, 3 races 3 grand departures. If you do the 3 races in a season whenever it's convenient it makes it easier and should get an asterisk.

Did anyone loose sunglasses. I found sunglasses with case somewhere between Copper and Leadville. I can't remember exactly where I found them. Robert Orr

Hey Stefan, FYI, I don't know the exact time I finished but I do know I was behind Chris by I think at least 30? min. Does anyone know my time? Great race!
