180 riders? Wow! I hope the gas stations along the route have stocked up big time on snack food!  I hear you. My wife just headed to Costco to stock up for the TD riders coming our way. Chicken pot pie, lasagna, roasted chicken... come get! |

Montana High Country Lodge wants to wish all TD riders a safe and complete ride. We'll be watching your dots (kind of a junkie that way). We are located in the Grasshopper valley on the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway 2 miles past the Grasshopper Inn and Ma Barnes Country Store and 1 mile before Polaris (just a post office no service or supplies). Look for our sign...You can't miss the bike and huge Tour Divide banner. We offer quick TD service for the rider wishing to press on to Lima. We have beds, showers, food, WiFi and Verizon cell phone service for those wishing to recharge a little.

2016 Riders Rates
Room Rate:
One person - $55.
Two people - $70.
Three people - $80.
Food:
Breakfast $10. - $13.
Lunch or Dinner $10. - $15.
Sandwich/Cookie/Apple $5. - $8.
Soda Pop/Juice/Lemonade $1. - $2.
Snack Bars/Fruit/Jerky $2. - $5.

A HUGE Thank You to all the TD riders that stopped at the Montana High Country Lodge. We are not quite done as there are a few riders still moving that might stop in.
A special thank you to Joe Polk and Matthew Lee for all you do to make the TD a success.
It is time for me to GO FISHING!

We are nearing the end of the southbound TD riders, just a few more to come in the next couple days. We had 4 TD riders spend last night @ the Montana High Country Lodge and another 4 stop in for breakfast this morning.

A few more TD riders stopped by the Montana High Country Lodge today. Billy and Lina Rice enjoyed a Father's Day to remember forever on the TD route. When they departed for Lima they had a sweet little tail wind. Four TD riders are spending the night.

Several of our old TD friends stopped by the Montana High Country Lodge today. The weather has been very, very favorable for riding so some TD riders are pressing on across the Bannack Bench road while it is good on their way to Lima. So unfortunately we missed getting photos of some, sorry!
