Thanks...got in around 12:30 last night. Sean came and met up with Jack and I in Foresthill, we all had some pizza together, I think Sean was relieved we weren't ready to kill him after suffering through this brutal course he designed! Quite the contrary, I had a blast, the course is very, very hard but huge rewards for your suffering with the amazing scenery and trails. Jack and I took tons of pics and video, we will get them up soon.

Jack - super fun riding with you, sorry I lost you on the last stretch to Auburn! Hope you made it in ok. This was Jack's first bikepacking race and he crushed a very non-hardtail friendly (very rocky and technical) course on his Ti hardtail. Impressed with your riding, hope we get to do this again someday. Safe travels back to MD.

And finally huge thanks to Sean - I loved the course, I really hope we can get more people out next year. Just as good as CTR in my opinion.

We are still in the restaurant in Heavenly waiting out the rain. Neither of us is excited about a cold wet night above 9000 ft. It's looking a bit better so we may head out soon.

Lost Jack just before Heavenly - made it to burger joint just as skies opened up and crazy lightning. Warm and dry eating a burger watching the rain. Jack go to the restaurant next to the market if you see this!

Rim trail today was pristine flowy fun. Hoping to make it to star lake or Armstrong pass or further tonight, depending on the rain.

Jack and I are in Tahoe City waiting out a crazy lightning storm before we head up high again to get over to Kings Beach. Course has been AWESOME! Some real gems of trails between Foresthill and Tahoe, rarely used. Rubicon was about 10 times burlier than I expected, those jeeps were seriously fun to watch. We had to get by about 50 of them though which slowed us way down. Super pumped for some rim trail action tomorrow.

Alright I'm signed up to Trackleaders. Looking forward to Friday morning! 7 people signed up on the spreadsheet, with Blake and Michael doing an ITT later this month, so looks like we'll be 5 strong this weekend.

Sean, you say no water between Mt. Rose and Spooner - can't we get water at Marlette Lake? Also, does Spooner have any food - I see there is a bike shop there. Thanks

Sorry I haven't signed up yet on Trackleaders, I haven't had my Spot with me and don't know the serial number. I will get signed up tomorrow.

Finally had a chance to look at the route in close detail.....am I correct in seeing no resupply between Foresthill and Tahoma (107 hard miles) and between Strawberry and Foresthill (120 very hard miles). Did I hear rumors of some cabin bar in the middle of nowhere serving food?

Only 4 people signed up! C'mon people! This is a spectacular route Sean's cooked up, I hope more folks can make it.

Rode the Tahoe Rim Trail this past weekend, Heavenly over to Mr. Toad's. Awesome stretch of trail. So stoked for this. (Sean just saw your blog, looks like we just missed each other out there!)

I revived the signup sheet from last year if people want to put their names down. Sounds like only a couple people so far, hope we get more!

52 days till go time, haven't seen any chatter about this race yet. Sean, is the updated gpx posted on the website?

How are the drought conditions up there? Keeping fingers crossed for no fires this year!

Hey all you racers - 300 and 750 - I'm putting together a video from my AZTR750 race this year (took about 6 hours of raw footage out there), and I've got some gaps in the story from when I was just too tired to do any filming. I'm hoping other people took some video as well that they wouldn't mind sharing with me? Anything helps, and of course you'd get credited. Just a fun little video to help share this amazing experience. PM me if you've got some footage for me. Thanks!

Writeup coming, gotta do some life catchup first.

Still hobbling around 4 days later. Missing the trail already, pain memories are fading, ready to ride again. Congrats to everyone who made it through or even attempted this, and to those still out there, savor it! To everyone here, and especially Scott, the Arizona Trail Association, and others who helped make this happen - THANK YOU for the experience of a lifetime.

How bad is the drought this year in AZ? Any water stops that have been dependable in the past that might not be this year?

Any 750 peeps planning on camping at the border Thursday night? Camped right at the start line in 2012 and only got buzzed a couple times by border patrol. Felt safe enough but always good to camp with a group if possible.....

I'll be camping at the border too.

Any 750-ers want to split a shuttle from Tucson to Sierra Vista (or the border if possible) on Thursday the 10th? Looks like around $80 for the shuttle to SV, then ride 25 miles on roads to the border Thursday night.

I'm in for the 750.  Planning on flying into Tucson, hoping to catch a ride down to the start with someone.  Haven't booked the flight yet but I assume I'll be arriving on the 10th.  Not sure if anyone's organizing shuttles but count me in if there's room!
