Jefe's in Idaho!

...and EP and KR are still riding together...

Looks like Ethan slept off the I-15 frontage road last night...apparently got a good night's sleep, I guess that is a sure sign that someone is beat if they can get 6 hours of sleep on the side of an Interstate!!

edit-- satellite view shows a clear road the way DB is headed --but there is wilderness area-- where it might be closed?? any one with on the ground knowledge know?

That N. Valley road does look clear all the way through. But what will he do once he gets back to the route - assuming that he can that way? Would have to go back to the river crossing in order to stay in the running right?

I wonder what Jefe will do when he gets to that river crossing, will be interesting to see...

- edit: as i was typing looks like DB has gotten back to route...we'll see now what he does!!

Maybe took a wrong turn, or setting up the bivy for the night...

Bruno seems to be heading way off route, anyone know if he has some destination/resupply in mind? Or is he heading off into no man's land? Looks pretty sparse where he's heading...

We've got a Nobo in Colorado! Must be a big boost to cross a state line...

I noticed the same thing but it looks like they actually headed north from the route...stores, restaurants up there maybe??

Quick, somebody run up to Rolling Mtn Pass and wake Ethan up! 

 ...no kidding! Jesse could catch him...

Ethan and Jesse are 'sleeping in' this morning! Ethan has been camped out for a while now just shy of Rolling Mtn Pass - his first stop over four hours, and Jesse is still in Silverton...Jefe is starting to creep up on them, since he's been riding steady since about 1am. I wonder about DH - his last point was over 11 hours ago...

Once again Ethan rides on through the night! JJ looks to be getting some  in Silverton - probably some peeps who know where he is holed up - but I would guess Ethan is riding away with it at this point as he approachs Rolling Mountain Pass.
{I am traveling in Asia at the moment...so I get to watch the night owls!} CTR has gone global...

Ethan plows on into the night. He is putting a significant lead on JK. Also the projection chart puts him right now at 4 days 3 hrs 36 minutes and closing!! Could he do it?

Looks like Ethan P. is done...Silverton to Durango in a day, impressive.

I'm loving the updates from people who have actually ridden the route, cause I haven't (except waterton to georgia)
and I'm getting a much better idea of what the riders are going through than by just tracking on the map.
