Hi,

Am looking for a 22"/XL Surly 29er... so either Ogre or Karate Monkey with gears (2x10, 3x9 both OK, not singlespeed).
Preferably a build designed for more offroad use as a hardtail (wider tires, front shocks would be ideal) but not essential.
Rohloff also considered though depending on price.
Need to have it posted within Europe to UK (preferable), or within US (possible). Or on the wild offchance there's a bike in East Africa.

Thanks!

For those with the Jones bars... How are they for XC trail riding, not touring? I'm considering buying an Ogre with them, to which I'd add a front suspension fork. Are they less/more manoeuvrable than standard MTB bars?

Just to say hi from someone else in Kenya.... Curious if you ever did the trip...

Hi, I live in Kenya. Not so much into bikepacking but looking at getting a Surly XC/touring setup and this forum seems to have a lot of knowledge on it. Also a lot of the issues you guys have with reliability and availability of parts are also valid for living with a bike in Africa. Best wishes to all...
