Steve Watson is have a tough day with navigation - currently he's on his second detour doing extra miles on day 3. He missed the turn of Flathead Valley Rd, and now has a second issue and is heading north instead of south.
Does anyone know what he is using for navigation? Would this not show on the GPS as being off-track?

I don't know if anyone has answered this (its a bit late anyway but here goes) he apparently could not hear the beeps from his GPS due to the weather noise and the amount of clothing he had on because of the weather at the time.
Last time I rode with him he had a Garmin from memory. Not sure what type.
