This version of the Fargo comes with the rear bosses for a rack.

Bike is in excellent condition, well maintained - chain cleaned/lubed approximately every 100 miles. Bike just received once-over from Denver-area LBS (and is now shiny clean). There are two cable rub marks on each side of head tube (now covered by helicopter tape) and there's a scuff mark on the downtube, right side just below water bottle cage -- caused by the frame bag.

PRICE:

$1275, local pick-up (will meet buyer at location within 100 miles of Minneapolis/St Paul-area)

Shipping available on your shiny penny.  Smiley

Low-ball offers will be ignored.
3  Forums / Question and Answer / Biking and Celiac Disease on: October 11, 2014, 07:42:22 AM
Recently, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease (can't have any food with gluten in it) which meant a radical change in diet.  For the most part, it's been a smooth transition to a gluten-free diet since I was a simple eater to begin with.

While doing local rides isn't a big issue for food purposes, I can see where longer rides (bikepacking) might be an issue.

The Bonk Breaker bars (energy and protein) along with Kind Healthy Grain and Van's Natural Foods snack bars are all gluten-free so they would be lightweight to carry in quantity.  There's options for gluten-free cement, er, oatmeal as well.  Apples and banana's are good too but the banana's can end up being badly bruised after jostled around in a backpack.

A major issue with a gluten-free diet is not enough fiber.

Anyone else in the same boat and have some suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks - I bought an XL PackTowl at REI last night and it worked well this morning.

What are folks using for a travel towel?  Right now, I'm commuting to work and using a 1900 cu inch backpack to carry everything.  I've discovered carrying a regular full-size towel doesn't work - too big.

I see REI carries the PackTowl's - any good?

Thanks
