I'm interested in a trip like that. I have been looking into doing a trip along the Appalachian trail. Looking for a bit more mileage per day while camping where possible. March is probably a bit too soon for me. I'm not sure if you've already found anyone to ride with, but I plan on heading in to Cummings, GA as that's where my gf's parents live.
