I vote for April 7 as the start date.

My vote is to have the tour start on April 7.  It's my Spring Break 

Thanks.  I guess that's not what I thought it was either.  I think I need the cues for the tour??  There is a great excel paper for the proper.  It says where the campgrounds are, the restraunts, the miscellaneous tid- bits that help us stay on trail....looking for that for the tour.  So I can map out where to stop for the nights.   I have the info for the first part up to the Santa Barbara Pistachio Farm.  That is about where the proper heads off to Carrizo Plains and the tour turns into the Los padres Wilderness.  Thx

Hey all-- I am looking at the tour de los padres.  Looks super fun and an epic challenge. Thanks for figuring this 'trail' out.  I am having difficulty opening the waypoints link though.   I am wondering what I have to have on my computer to open it?  Anyone get it open successfully?  I can open everything else, but I am not crazy enough ( yet) to tackle the 300 mile proper tour de los padres, I want the 148 mile shorter version   I also want to go and do the tour piece by piece, so I am ready for April 17th.
