Judging by the pace of the guys heading from Bannack to Lima, the trail must be a real mudfest or something - Luke Bodowes covered just 45 miles in 9 hours. I was very glad it was dry last year.

There may well be lots of mud after yesterday but they've also been taking gusty 25-30 km/hr (15-20 mph) winds right on the chin. It has been blowing from the S all day so far and will shift slightly to the SSW as the day goes on.

I kept zooming in thinking it would be nice if Google could capture them all looking up and smiling with two thumbs up.
