I'm exhausted just following this. How exciting. Congrats to Josh. I think, barring any unseen misfortune.

Looks like Josh has it. Barring any mishaps. What a race. I feel for Jay and Neil. But at least it didn't come down to a 3 man sprint after 2700 miles. Unless you want to call Neil's "attack" a sprint.

Who needs to watch soccer? This stuff is EPIC. Thanks for posting video too! I guess the drive over from El Paso was worth it. Seeing this stuff live is beyond imagine. Looks like Josh has the deal sealed up. I sorta feel for Jay P and Neil. Does anyone know where Josh made his move? His Epic move?

Wow, I'm so jealous that you're getting a chance to see this go down live. More updates... please. I can only use my imagination and I can see Josh out in front of the storm while JP and Neil race in the rain. Frantically trying to catch Josh. Wowzers.

Sad that there isn't live video coverage of this! Or is there...... (wishful thinking) What a fantastic rolling drama. Each of the riders doing the route is a winner in my book. Just amazing. Can't wait to hear what each of the top 3 have to say when this is all over. I personally would have loved to see a 3 way tie. Just a fitting end to all the drama. But I don't think we'll be getting that. Seems that there was no gentleman's agreement:-) and the race was on after silver city.
