I have been mountain biking, racing and bikepacking for 3yrs. I am wanting to build a new bike. I can only afford one bike. Iam wanting to build a bike that I can bikepack with and race with. I was thinking about the new timberjack salsa frame. Building it up light weight. When i want to bikepack put jones bars on it. That would hopefully be my only component switch between racing and packing. What are your thoughts?  Wheel set that can do both? Other frames? Components? I need help with my problem. Than you.

With my front roll on bike I get gear shifting problems.  I use a oveja negra front roll and lunch box. I have tried different ways to mount roll but still get problems. Roll is on top of all my cables and causes gears to not shift very smooth.  Any suggestions.  Thank you.
