Hi, I'm David Tuttle from Canada and am planning on the 2024 Grand Depart.
I have begun my physical training with Trainer Road, last month... I just picked up my custom frame on Thursday and I am going to build it up so I know everything about it. Still learning about the Tour and the planning needed for the route.

Thanks!  I hope your recovery from surgery is going well.  I said a few extra prayers this week.  It's great to see you posting again.

Congratulations to fellow Iowan Matt Miller, who finished the race early this evening in a very strong 22d 10h.  Way to go!!! He has some decent hills where he lives (we've been in that area several times), but nothing like what he faced on the route.

That's one of the beautiful things about the Divide, as well as any other trail or even any bicycle - it doesn't care who you are, where you're from, or anything else. It just says 'Here I am.' The next decision is ours.

Hmmm...Andrew Kulmatiski's dot hasn't moved for some time.  I hope he's alright or just has dead SPOT batteries and doesn't know it.  He got off to a wicked-fast start...

His stomach bug came back unfortunately. He scratched again yesterday. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
