In the autumn of 2019, I went on a gravel bike trip in Spain's Province of Cuenca.
This region east of Madrid is sparsely populated and it has some remarkable landscapes.
It was solo trip on a 3T Exploro gravel bike: 7 days, 1000km, approx. 15000m elevation.
Starting in Madrid, over the Via Verde to the East. Then mostly on gravel paths from one village to the other to sleep in hotels.
A visit to the city of Cuenca and it's surroundings is a must, together with the La Raya cliffs in U?a and the Ruta de las Caras (route of the faces) around the Buendia lake.

Looks like really pleasant touring terrain. Really nice looking trip. Awesome job on the vid!

Thank you!
It was good fun, indeed!

Fourteen days in June 2016: 2000km and 36.000m of elevation on a mountainbike across the province of Andalusia. Solo with only one backpack. The main goal is to ride as much as possible off the beaten track to see what the non-touristic side of this region has to offer. One camera and 2 GoPros to make this movie and many photos in order not to forget this great journey.

Hi,
In June 2015 I crossed Spain by mountainbike. Solo with only 1 backpack.
14 days, 1750km, 30.000m+
It was a magnificent experience to see how a country that is known for its touristic beaches has so much more to offer.

To keep the memories alive, I made a movie of this trip that I would like to share with people who like bikepacking...
Hope you enjoy it!!
