Hi all, I don't know is it proper forum place to post my DIY projects. well it started from passion to bike touring and bikes and TIG courses. so i started to make racks at first, but dreaming about framebuilding
If its okay i will post racks I am making and would be crazy happy to receive some ideas how to improve them and adopt to bikepacking idea - light touring. Perhaps that how its possible to make great results.
All my racks are Tig welded using steel 10x0.8mm

made one rack for a guy with On-one +Surly mix bike. mainly for weight on platform, but possible to put small panniers and thats best you can still use bottle cages on fork legs

and for weight I was very happy abpout this result 419 grams  (plus paint)  but overall really stiff one

Hello, i love bikepacking, and have some stuff for sale. So first of all, one small pocket tool, which can be really useful in travels

Its is easier to change drive side spoke with this small lightweight  tool and don't need to take much of heavy tools neede to remove cassette.
Only weight: 20grams

How to use the tool:
To change broken spokes on the right side of the rear wheel, the cassette has to be removed first
Firstly remove the rear wheel, than fit the tool onto the freewheel nut.
Replace the rear wheel, so that the square edge of the tool presses to the frame or derailleur hanger. After that, push the pedals in the forward direction and loosen the freewheel nut. Remove the cassette and replace the broken spoke.
In order to prevent the possibility that the paint on the bicycle frame would be damaged, a protective plastic plate should be inserted between the key and the frame
