The El Dorado Trail goes from outside of Folsom to Placerville and beyond.  Its mostly dirt along an old railroad line.

The Pony Express trail parallels Highway 50 from Ice House Rd. to Echo Summit.  I don't know how to connect the two trails, but there must be a way.

You can't get to the PXT at Pacific House because the bridge is gone.
