Wondering what the best solution is for my girlfriends long, thick hair and an extended tour in the desert.   Hair is very hot on the neck in a poly tail.   Braid, cut it short, thin it out, etc?   What do you think is the best solution for dealing with a lot of hair on a month long trip?
