Hey all....broke my rear thru axle just shy of Kentucky Camp just before sunset. Makeshift repair and I limped back to Sonoita. Staying here and looking for a ride into Tucson to get repair if anyone knows someone coming thru Sonoita or willing to pick me up! Bill 928 814 3671
Hey unfortunately I broke my rear thru-axle near Kentucky camp and I'm limping back out to Sonoita right now. If anyone has any ideas how to get to Tucson in the morning I could get my axle fixed and pick up on Lemmon and get back to my truck at picket post. About 6 miles out of Sonoita right now. I may still be in a situation where I need some shuttle help! My buddy is waiting out a shoulder injury and will make a decision this Friday. @mtnrunner43....I will be leaving Flag the afternoon (between noon and 2 pm) of Wednesday, April 4th. I'm driving to Picketpost and the plan right now is to split a shuttle from Picketpost to Parker with another racer. Are you interested in splitting that shuttle 3 ways with us? My buddy may have to back out and in that scenario I would be looking to split the shuttle 2 ways with someone.
Anyone leaving Superior or the Picketpost trailhead for Parker Canyon Lake later in the day on Wednesday 4/4/18. I'm coming down from Flagstaff and potentially arriving in the Superior area around 5ish. There's a chance I'd be looking to catch a ride earlier in the day, but if there are some folks planning on leaving later that could take me and my bike to the start I'd like to hook up.
Getting stoked for the 300. Pretty new to bikepacking and never ridden in that area. Looks like I might get some outside miles in Flag this year to get ready!
