Depending on conditions, I'm planning a bikepacking trip on the Denali Park Rd for the first week of May. According to the Denali NP website (https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/cycling.htm) the Denali Park Road is mostly ice/snow free in early May, but is dependent on the year. Fatbike would probably be a good idea since road is likely to be muddy in spots even if free of snow and ice.
Will re-assess conditions mid-April to see if this trip is going to be doable. If it is not looking promising, will resort to plan B, riding the Golden Circle (350 miles of hwy through Yukon and AK).
Let me know if interested in joining.
