I must be out of the loop but what does arm-chairing the race mean?

I love riding in Hurricane by the way!

When Eric got the mechanical it seemed like he was with Matt or close to him.  If he was with him then he most likely asked Matt what he could do.  So there is not reason to speculate if he is out or not because he could have gotten permission.

Anyway I think the rule was intended to prevent a person from going foward via a car to gain position,Eric's intentions were not to gain position but to fix a bike and then head back to where he got the ride.  There is not difference in what he did then if he had gotten the ride back to Butte, he still would have gone back to the same spot before Lima, so I do not see where the advantage is.

Either way I hope he catches Matt and makes this even more exciting, and I think Matt will appreciate the competition.

Thanks for the update.  It is too bad because there seemed to be a good race.  There is a lone way to go so anything can happen and maybe Eric will get his bike fixed quick and be back racing.  Prayers are with you man.

This is going to sound rude, sorry in advance.

No one is going to check on anyone.  You should read the rules and FAQ on the TD website and understand a little bit about the race before posting repeatedly asking if anyone has seen or knows what is going on with a particular racer.

If you know your going to be rude then maybe you should check yourself at the post, I was just wondering, how others new about the whereabouts of certain riders, but not Heather.  I have every right to be concerned for a rider and to be a fan.  Oh by the way I had already read some of the rules but wasn't sure how people knew of certains riders issues.

Do the organizers ever go out and check on a rider if there spot hasn't moved or they haven't heard from a rider in awile?

Hey Scott,

do you have any news on Heather Dawe?

So when you are tracking the iders there is a red line and a blue line.  Do the riders have to follow the red line exactly?

Anyone have news on Heather?

But the tracker shows her going to swan lake, so it must be on.  Anyway she better hope she gets going soon because it is about to wet for all the riders.

Cool pictures, thanks for sharing.

So any news on Heather Dawe she really has been near swan lake for a long time, looks like she took a wrong turn.  Are there signs out there telling the riders where to go?
