I put an Old Man Mountain rear rack on my Knolly Tyaughton hard tail MTB to put it to the test on my Arizona Trail through ride last month. I loved it. Lowers center of gravity and allows 100% dropper function. Used it with Revelate micro panniers. Was concerned they?d get in the way on HABs but no problems. I went with the fully attached rack with replacement rear axle also from OMM and it worked great.  Liked it so much doing same on my Salta Fargo Ti gravel bike ? trying it out July 7 on the Canada section of the GDMBR.

Starting SOBO solo July 9 from Jasper. Averaging mellow 45 miles per day. Stopping at Montana border. I rode the USA GDMBR last year solo. Just finished the Arizona Trail solo. Entertaining having 1 or 2 riding companions on this one for a change. Let me know if you have interest in riding along.

60 year old guy, happily married, looking for another guy or two to do this ride. I am currently going solo. Caching water April 24. Staying in Cannonville. Start riding early on the 25th from Grosvenor Arch going CW. Mellow ~40 miles per day.

Looking for rider(s) to join me on this ride. I am relatively new to bikepacking. 10 days on the GDMBR so far, mostly in Montana. Some Idaho. I am preparing for the GDMBR in 2021. This route in Idaho looks very similar to that.

For those that want to know, I am 60, male,  reasonably fit, and happily married.

Starting in Ketchum. Riding around 50 miles a day or so depending on elevation. I want to enjoy the ride. I like to fly fish here and there. The hot springs sound good. So, with that in mind it would take 10 days with a day off in the middle would make it 11 days total but play it by ear as a team.
