1  Forums / Question and Answer / Rigid fork advice for Epic HT on: February 04, 2021, 01:43:12 AM
Hi! I recently bought a Specialized Epic Hardtail 2021 with the RockShox Judy Gold.
I was planning to make a bikepacking expedition soon and wanted to replace the fork with a rigid one.
I'm trying to decide between:
Niner Rdo Boost MTB Carbon fork (AC height 490mm Rake 51mm Axle 15x110mm) 521?
Trek 1120 Carbon Fork (AC height 510mm Rake 51mm Axle 15x110mm) 315?
Cinq Adventure Carbon MTB Fork (AC height 495mm Rake 51mm Axle 15x110mm) 600?
Which one would you think would suit better to the geometry of the Epic? Do you advice a different one?
I'm towards the trek for its price, but not sure about de 510mm ac..
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I was looking for a bikepacking bike which is comfortable for rough terrain (climbing approaches) as durable and low maintenance as possible, and able to carry bags with climbing/camping gear for 2-3 days.
I was thinking the Canyon Exceed CF 7 and the procaliber 9.7 were appropriate for this task.
Maybe an Orbea alma with rigid fork?
I would appreciate your advice to choose between this bikes or any other you find better for my needs.

Thanks in advance!!
