Looking at the race flow it appears that Justinas is not really sleeping much at all whereas Ulrich and Laurens are getting a good 4 to 6 hours sleep. I wonder when it is going to catch up with Justinas. For all his lack of sleep he only has a small lead of about 20 miles, which could evaporate really quickly. Really interesting to watch the different approaches.

I wonder if this is going to be the year that Mike Hall's record is going to be broken. Justinas is on a hell of pace right now!

It also looks like some riders haven't made the turn to koko claims and have instead headed to Elkford. I wonder if that was their original plan all along. Today has not been one of my most productive days!

Since there is no "official" website for the TD, sending out automated updates on route changes, etc., I can see how someone could miss the route changes at the last minute. Especially if starting from the south end since there isn't a large number of people standing around talking about the course... Hopefully, he finds out soon.

Does anyone know what the snow levels are like over Elk Pass in BC or north of whitefish, etc. Here in Summit County, Colorado, we had a lot of snow in May and it has only really starting to melt the last week or so. Thanks, John.
