Been using OsmAnd. Has loads of user options, so a bit of a learning curve.
I use it offline both when biking and when kayaking. I really like that it has different profiles for things like driving/boating/biking/hiking, lets me use the same app for everything. I can even move maps, profile settings, etc from one device to another, no need to do the setup again on another device. I use it on two, one that's waterproof for kayaking and my daily use one.
The only thing I don't like about it is that I don't find it any good for locating biz or residential addresses.

Years ago I rode a mtn bike from Minnesota to Mississippi and hauled a trailer. We covered right around 1000 miles. I did not have modern, light weight, gear like we have today and it took us (and my riding partner was not up to my distance level) roughly 3 weeks of actual ride time.
The trip itself took 3 months.

 So I believe it's doable. 😁
5  Forums / Question and Answer / Phone mounts on: March 26, 2021, 03:27:58 PM
Has anyone found a good, dependable,  phone mount?
So far I'm 0/2.  I would need it to be solid enough for riding w/o my gear on some rocky downhills as well as long distance packing.

 Any good ones out there?
