CTR riders, congrats and thanks from The Colorado Trail Foundation.  Hope and trust you had a great adventure on The Colorado Trail this year.  You are awesome ... we received donations from many of you this year.  Your support truly helps the CTF continue maintaining the trail (no small task, it takes involved volunteers and donors).  Improving the CT too, like the work our volunteers will start (hopefully next year) in creating new singletrack...can't wait.  Grateful for your "give back," we need it.  THANKS.

I saw both shows, Boulder then Denver.  Each room was nearly full.  Bikepacker brothers Tedd and Judd were informative and entertaining.  They live near Albuquerque and drove here just for the presentations; might not happen here again.  On April 8 they'll do the show at the Albuquerque REI, maybe worth a road trip with a bonus of NewMex Mex.

Inside REI is a Starbucks ... they've got some food things.  My Brothers Bar has good burgers, very close.  Salvegetti Bike Shop is really close too and they might have the good spots wired.

The Saguache reroute will take many years and, as BearCreek mentioned, there are some advocating that the new route be hike and horse only.  CTF info here:
