I really enjoyed my adventure on the CT and I apologize for hitch-hiking and acting like I didn't . Mad props to all who finished legit, especially Ryan. I support all of you and hope to see many of you on the trail next year!  

I lost a pair of Smith sunglasses on the second day going over Georgia!  I also lost a Sony mp3 player and a hammer gel flask, but I don't care about them as much as the glasses.  I finished the CTR without out them, but stopped five times to pick bugs out of my eyes.

Let me know the best way I can retrieve them.  THANK YOU!!!

Followed by the relief of the Cochetopa Hills and some nice fast doubletrack before a long 50 mile detour around the La Garita Wilderness.



I wonder if the Trail Angel tent will be there again this year?  Those bags of Cheese-its and crackers sure hit the spot!!!

 

Trail angels?? Is leaving food on the trail littering or is it trail magic!?

Can I catch a ride back to the front range with anybody? I'm aiming for 7 days...

Carpooling is awesome, meet new people, split costs, I dig it!

I have never done anything quite like this but I'm aiming for 10 days and I'll be happy even if I only make it to Gunnison. I found the online track leaders donation and got that out of the way. Is there any prospect of me carpooling from Colorado Springs with anyone?
