I think myself and another guy will be doing it as an ITT a week or two after you guys do it as a group. Could you keep me posted with any of the group info that you put together, so Im abreast of information and updates?

I will be also doing the GST next year with Jeff. We plan to do this after the Highlands Race in Scotland. Could you also send me the gpx file? Thanks man.

I still haven't heard from Matt about the brew stops on the route for us newbies. Don't let us fester in dispense. As it looks we have a record number of rookies seeking knowledge.

I was wondering when that would come out about the 'palaces of brew'. I always enjoy a couple of those in the evenings after a long days ride. If anyone is alongside me in the evenings, I'm always up for that. In the Trans Alp last year, my racing buddy and I made that a tradition every night. Goes a long ways toward recovery. Matthew, any don't miss pubs along the route, please share.

Any idea of how many will attempt this year? I will be a first timer on the Tour and looking forward to the challenge. I have done many multi day races although this will surely be the biggest one. This is a great forum and I have learned a lot already from your wisdom.
