Bummer, looks like Dave Pickett-Heaps is off course. Hope he figures it out soon.

TJ -- looks like you'll be rolling in tonight!

Just noticing how far into the pack Dave Pickett-Heaps is, and he started 12 hours after everyone. Go go go crazy man!

TJ...hangin' strong. You got this!

Fine job, Dave Pickett-Heaps! We are all super proud of you! I especially like that I got to talk to your wife more in the past week than I have in the past year, and was more than happy to add her to my CTR Spouses' Support Group. Smiley

I love this race and following everyone. We have no TV at our house, so no Olympics, but who needs that when we've got this? Punctured lungs, impending dinosaur invasions -- this race has it all!

Dave Pickett-Heaps is not tracking. Was at the top of Molas Pass around 1/2 hour ago.

Go Cat!

Glad Cat found her Spot.

Rock on Dave Pickett-Heaps!

All of these pictures are making me want to move back to the San Juans and live on my bike

Dave Pickett-Heaps is feeling great mentally, hurting a bit on the back. Gonna make a call much later today -- but his wife said he needs to finish it because she's not taking him down to get his truck in Durango. Smiley

on that note...

Thanks to this awesome group of people and to the one that found DPH's credit card at Waterton Canyon and is returning to his wife (who lost it).

If you don't find a ride (sorry I can't offer), look up rtd-denver.com and specifically the GS bus. It has a somewhat limited schedule, but you can put a fully assembled bike on front or underneath. It won't get you to the start, but much closer.

Can anyone give me a lift to the start on Friday morning? Im happy to pay cash if youre going that way already! Shoot me a message if you can help me out. Im staying in Boulder and dont want to add that many extra miles to my trip-- Im already a long enough shot to finish as is, I need all the help I can get!

If not, are there any shuttles in the area that would ride me with my fully assembled bike anywhere close to the start? Everything Ive found so far says my bike has to be boxed or they wont take me.

Thanks

Dave Pickett-Heaps had a fall (didn't get details) but is doing fine physically and in a great state of mind.

In my next life, I'm coming back as Cat Morrison -- she rules!

Bummed for TJ, but hope he makes his way over to Boulder for some recuperation and fun.

Looks like Dave Pickett-Heaps pulled out a bit ago. Wishing him the best today and over the next few days!

so much for my arching/anti-electricity/juju theory. Looks like some are about to get pounded, if they haven't already.

We have some house-shaking rumbling going on in Boulder right now, but from the radar, it looks like the storms are arched away from the riders. They must all have some great anti-electricity juju going on.

Good to know! I have no doubt that DPH will catch up with the other riders even w/ a 24 hour delay start.

Also to add..Go Cat Morrison! You got this!

Looks like some not so fun storms E/SE of the Trail right now. Hope they stay away.

Way to bust a move TJ!  Dave says, "Yo! Allstar..."

ETURK, I think I met you camping last week. My son was not sharing the bubble maker very well with your son.  For that, I apologize, and for you...we wish you great success on your ride!

Sending a good morning to Todd Johnson. Eli and Leo are very proud and can't wait to join you someday. Enjoy the 10 mile range. Those mountains are home in my heart. And that descent into Copper...better than any cup of coffee in the morning!

Very impressed with all of the riders, but 17 years old???!!!!  VERY impressive.  Good for you, mom, for being so supportive.
