stores and restaurants are opening! Easy to stay 6 feet apart on the trail and easy to bring a mask- no weight or space really needed. Might just need to modify the start- start in waves?

awesome to see an "older" group in the top 10- gives me hope and makes me feel young

I rode up to mile 25 last night to cheer the racers on this am and was pleasantly surprised to see Kurt and fish crushing it.  Just getting up on Indian trail ridge at 8:30am. They were talking and having a good time. Flying! 4.5 hrs for 25 miles and 7 k of climbing. Nice pace.

Anyone want to claim the pearl Izumi knee warmer I found a few miles after the freeman cache snagged on a branch? I'd be happy to mail it to the owner. I asked briefly around at the finish of the 300 but was focused on food and a beer.

Has anyone used the MTB project app on course? As a GPS backup?

Awesome work by all. Weather has been less than friendly. Especially in the San Juans.

What happened to J. Basham?

It helps knowing there is a big downhill to the finish- and beerworks

It seems like going from Denver to Durango has a lot more stragedy as these guys get faster each year. Lots of easy food stops in the north half of the course.
Not sure I could leave Leadville and plan on skipping BV and Princeton in hopes of making it to silverton during open/feeding hours. Even knowing previous trail fairy locations.

Wayne Keith is hanging at the trail angel site!  I went throughout there last week on my ITT. Didn't want to let the site be known until racers were on ther way. If I were Keith I would load up on the cokes and treats there. Next supply isn't for a while

Just finished a northbound trip in 10 days thanks to the weather. Three half days due to storms.  Unable to do 22/23 due to fires and no 7 thanks to weather. The storms were coming in early afternoon- 1 to 2 pm with a mix of hail and rain with lots of lightening going all night long to 5 am. Made for some greased conditions. Difficult even to HAB with that much wetness.

Only saw 3 other thrubikers. I'll try to get up some pics up to get you guys psyched for kennebec, Indian ridge and sargents. FYI kennebec and Indian ridge and blackhawk in our first day made for about 5.5 hours of HAB! Rolling took another hour but was surprisingly rideable. Sargents however. .you know, was balanced by fooses.

Ooh yeah- lots of all female groups of thruhikers near collegiates was a bonus. They should be near silverton for the ctr nono
