Couloirman: If you can get a bus into downtown Denver, you could catch the C or D line of the Light Rail.  Take the train (you can stand with your bike at the front or rear of each train car) south to the end of the line at the Mineral Station.  At this point you're about 10-miles from the start of the CT at Waterton Canyon.  From the Mineral Station, head west a short distance and get on the South Platte River bike path at Mary Carter Greenway, which is adjacent to train parking lots on the northwest side; follow the path south into Chatfield State Park.  Bike to the west entrance, which is on Wadsworth Boulevard.  Head south on Wadsworth to Waterton and the CT.  The Waterton exit off Wadsworth is well signed.  Have a good ride.
