Forums / Routes / Time period to ride Coconino loop?

Hey guys -
I am thinking of the Coconino loop as a kickstarter to my year in March/April. The average temps are low, but manageable, for instance, I rode Koko last April and was fine camping a 45 degree bag in 25 degree nights.
My main question is snowpack. Is it rideable? A lot of push? Those that have done the push at high elevations of Koko before, how does it compare to that wet slog?
Basically, around late March every year I get the cabin fever and need to get away from the snow. After 10 consecutive years in Moab/Fruita, its time to try something new.

If you want a suggestion and add a little more to your trip, from Prince Rupert, take the ferry out to Queen Charlotte Island.
I used to live out there, and I will say it is still the most beautiful place on earth I have ever been (and I have been to 48 states and 4 continents). There are dirt roads galore, less than 6000 people for over 4000 square miles. And it is the home of the Haida, there is history and culture around every bend.

These are a set of custom steel handlebars with a specific 21.5 degree bend for the hands, and a forward bent, welded design so you can still use your standard stem length with them.
This specific set is custom in two ways - Clear powdercoat over welded steel finish, so you can see the weld marks, etc. Looks cool. Also, 27.5" width (wider than stock). I bought these for $140 from Groovy.
I removed the ugly lip stickers. Other than that, they are in perfect condition, include Bontrager vibration-damper inserts (installed), and are for a 25.4mm clamp stem.
$75 for the coolest folks that hang out at bikepacking.net.
