I?m rooting for Jeff K this year, I?m sure he will be happy to finish and it looks like it should be up towards the front.
Envious of the Plesko?s how awesome would it be to be able to complete this with your spouse, although I don?t think I would want to do it on a tandem.   I have a friend who calls tandems a divorce machines because of the arguments that happen on them. I?m sure that isn?t the case with them.
Thanks for the great pics and trip report Evdog looks amazing as always out there.
Hoping to get out there this year for a few days next month to partake in some CT goodness

i use Hammer products but have never tried a liquid exclusivley.  I'll have to give that a try on one of long training rides here pretty quick
to see how that works.  I've been more aware of how much and how often I drink and eat, as each hour passes and it has been helping .
Thanks everybody for all your ideas and what works for you.

6  Forums / Ultra Racing / any good ideas on staying fueled up on: January 04, 2018, 08:33:33 PM
I have a hard time eating often enough to stay fueled up.  I often find myself needing to eat and tell myself I'll stop at the top of a climb to grab something but then I get to the top and feel good and start down and find myself in the same situation again on the next climb.
So looking for some ideas on how you all keep your intake on schedule.

Just thinking of how car tires are rated for different speed and wondering if Neil's tires are rated for the crazy speed he is running.   AMAZING

Man am I feeling bad about not being able to get out this year, I had plans on it but had an issue on one of my
long training rides and still not sure what happened to me but till I figure it out or know I'm fine I better wait it out. But on the good side I'm way ahead on my training for next year.
Everyone be safe and have fun, during the tough times remember its way better than being at work.

Only one comes in first but all these racers are winners in my opinion no matter what the finish time is.

Hey i just read your post about your overnight and saw your pics, and had a question on your handlebars as I have been thinking about them and wondered how you like them.  I read your other posts on your blog and wondered if you did the races you were training for. Good job on getting out there and getting back to where you want to be, its more fun on a bike than any other way.

Have fun on your trip. I enjoy the prep for it just as much as the trip.    Take pics and post them up when you get back.

WOW. What a great job of capturing the feel of the race with the call ins. You have a real talent for putting these video's together that makes me feel I was there, especially the part of riding through the minefield of cactus  it gave me a chill just
thinking of crashing into one.   Thanks Aaron for taking the time and sharing it.

Great write up. Why is it a raincoat packed away attracts rain but when worn causes the rain to stop, i thought i was the only
one with that problem.Loved the part about the burger challenge. I also wonder when places will not honor all you can eat to
the TDR riders.
