I have a lightly used Crust Jungle Runner bar that I ran on my Jones LWB for a short while, then sold the Jones. It is similar to the Jones bars, but with slightly less rearward sweep, and it's wider. Mine has a black finish.

Happy to ship, if we agree on shipping fees and PayPal fees.

Asking $80 + shipping.

4  Forums / Classifieds / NIB: Crust Jungle Runner Bar - SOLD on: December 31, 2018, 06:10:55 AM
NEW Crust Bikes Jungle Runner Handlebar.

This is Crust's take on the multi position flat bar, or Jones bar.  This bar is 800mm wide at it widest point, Grip section is 190mm in length and at the “areo” position or hood position it is 480mm wide.

Made out of chromoly and made in Taiwan.

31.8 clamp size.

I really wanted to love this bar, but it turns out that I need a bar with more rise.

Asking $105 + shipping (bikeflights.com) and PP transaction fees.

As with many bikes before, I finished building my "forever" bike and...something else caught my eye. Therefore, I have a recently re-built Gen1 Velo Orange Piolet for sale (size medium). The frame and fork were a demo model purchased directly from VO several months ago and immediately stripped and powder-coated gloss black. The rest of the build is as follows:

- New DT Swiss M520 wheels with DT350 hubs
- New Shimano XT crankset (170mm arms) with 38T Race Face NW ring
- Shimano XT 9-speed clutch rear derailleur, and 9-speed rear trigger shifter
- Shimano XT 9-speed 11-36T cassette with Hope 40T expander ring
- Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes and speed dial levers
- New VP Harrier flat pedals
- Thomson setback seatpost
- Chris King headset
- New DMR Headstock cnc'd 50mm stem
- New Velo Orange Klunker handlebar with Ergon grips
- Schwalbe Big Apple 29 x 2.35 tires
- Saddle not included

Frame has lots of braze-ons for racks and fenders and can fit some 29+ tires. It's a really cool bikes and build, but I can't seem to hold onto a bike for more than a few months.

I'm listing my custom steel 29-plus bikepacking rig. I had this built by Silent Cycles in Chattanooga, TN to mimic the popular geometry created by Jeff Jones, except in a 29+ platform (before the Jones Plus). Geometry is identical to the Jones, except for this frame having a taller seat tube to increase frame bag capacity of the main triangle and having the frame built corrected for a 100mm suspension fork. It's a great all around bike for trail riding or bikepacking, I'm just ready to move on to something different. It has 3 water bottle mounts, braze-ons for a rear rack, and tons of braze-ons on the fork (its a steel Salsa Firestarter fork). The rest of the build is as follows:

Frame: custom Silent Cycles with Paragon Swinger dropouts and 44mm headtube
Fork: Salsa Firestarter (steel)
Headset: Cane Creek 40
Wheels: Velocity Blunt 35 rims laced to Chris King disc hubs
Tires: Surly Knard 29 x 3
Brakes: Avid BB7s with Shimano XTR 950 levers
Bar/stem: Titec J-bar and Hope 50mm x 20* stem
Shifters: Shimano Dura Ace 10sp. bar end shifters mated to Paul Thumbies
Grips: Ergon GC1 for swept back bars
Crankset: Shimano XT with Race Face 32T narrow-wide chainring
Rear Derailleur: Shimano XTR 10-speed
No pedals or front derailleur/shifter

Asking $1800 and may consider other interesting 27.5+ (2017 Fargo) bikepacking bikes.

Any interest in a partial trade for a small Fargo? Frame and steel fork

Sorry, but looking for a sale only right now. Small Fargo would be too small anyway. Thanks.

The steerer tube measures 9 1/8 inches. Here's a picture of the complete bike.  Thanks.

Yes, standard 100/135mm QR. I ran Surly Knards on Velocity Dually rims and a Shimano XT/XTR 1x10 setup with no clearance issues.

This model has a bit of history with Singular. It was launched via kickstarter and much of the information is detailed on the kickstarter campaign page here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1471361938/singular-rooster-29-bicycle

After the project was funded, it took a really long time for the frame to be produced - so long that the sole US distributor refunded pre-order deposits and severed ties with Singular. Ultimately, Singular did take delivery of one production run and sold them on their website, which is how I obtained this frame. Shortly thereafter, Singular was acquired/merged with a German (?) company, I think, and cut their frame lineup down considerably. The Rooster was one of the frames to be discontinued, as was the more popular Gryphon.

Copied from the Kickstarter page:

Technical details

Frame constructed from double butted 4130 cro-moly steel
    available in 3 sizes
Frame weight expected approximately 2.4kg in M size
Fork with tapered steerer and Reynolds blades
Tapered external cup head tube (SHIS EC 28.6/34 I EC 40/44)
73mm wide eccentric bottom bracket shell
Modular bolt on cable guides for clean geared or singlespeed use
    Direct mount front derailleur adadpter
    Replaceable rear derailleur hanger
    27.2mm seat post diameter
Clearance for 29x3" tyres on 50mm rims front and rear
Frames built by Taiwan's most respected steel frame manufacturer.

As for price, I'm looking for $675 + shipping.

Thanks!

Frame size is a "medium" per Singular.  Geometry sheet is attached.

17  Forums / Classifieds / SOLD - Singular Rooster 29-plus Frameset on: October 03, 2016, 08:55:40 AM
This is a really nice steel frame and fork that can be setup as 1x or SS with the EBB. The fork has mounts for Salsa Anything Cages or extra water bottles for bikepacking.

The frame will come with a Hope headset for the tapered steel headtube (super cool - not done widely for steel frames yet) and a generic seat collar.

The geometry of the frame is VERY similar to a Jones, except for the A-C length of the fork (468mm or 80mm sus-corrected). IT rides great, almost intuitive. Only selling because I have 2 other steel 29-plus bikes.

The only flaw is that one of the 3 screws that holds the rear derailleur hanger on is sheered off. This was my mistake upon installation - the powdercoat was sprayed into the threads. It doesn't affect use of the bike though since it's the middle bolt-hole and the wheel fits very tightly in the dropouts.

Price is negotiable.

I don't suppose you'd be interested in a frameset trade for either a Singular Rooster (29+) or a Jones Diamond Frameset?
