Thanks very much Mike!

I'm definitely staying psyched! I really appreciate the offer of a brew a place to crash for a night in SoCal. I'll most likely be skoochin through there at some point in august. I'm starting a contact list of people who are offering a place for me to stay along the way. If you want to give me your email or what ever contact info you'd like, I'll put ya in the book and we can try and meet up when I roll in my brotha!

Thanks again,
Erik

To my fellow outdoor crazies,

June 4th, I will be setting out on a solo bike tour across the country with a few nice cameras and my dad's old 80's mountain bike. This ride is going to be taking me to some of the most amazing places in this country. Places like Glacier, The Grand Tetons, Zion, The Grand Canyon and countless others. The trip will be over 5000 miles and take over 3 months. (give or take a month or two)

At 21 yrs old, I've found a great passion in getting others excited and involved in doing great things. I'll be documenting just how much one person can accomplish with the support of their fellow man (or woman). The cameras will be pointed at all the amazing people I will meet along the way, as well as be along for all the side trips, climbs, summits and completely random happenings that make doing a crazy trip like this and living the climbing lifestyle all worth while.

I am humbly asking for your support in any way possible. This doesn't just mean money... I want more than anything to get as many people involved and in this documentary as possible. Support could include a place to stay along the way if I'll be in your neck of the woods at some point, giving suggestions of great places to go that have been inspiring to you already, simply showing me around your town and introducing me to all of your climbing bum friends!

I've posted a route map for the tour on the donations page, so if nothing else just feel free to just take a look at that and see where I'll be heading. If you have any questions of comments or just want to BS about doing awesome stuff, don't hesitate! I'd love to hear from you!

SO... to wrap this up, I'll include a link to a donations page below this where you can send me a little spare change to keep the jetboil going and the headlamps on. Any support you can give is deeply appreciated.

This is my trip plan for this summer! Will the divide route meet up close to mine at all? It' be fun to cruise together for a few days. I know the divide route is mostly trail riding but if there are any country road sections, let me know!

here's a like to my trip/documentary = http://www.gofundme.com/Erik-On-A-Bike
