Marco is a veteran with a ride of 19 days (last year?), this year he is taking it easy, riding along with Elena.  I would love to hear his thoughts on the tow different styles of riding.  Also if he misses not being in the "race" this year.

I had the pleasure of riding in Italy with Marco in May, he's a great guy. Super duper strong...imagine if you will a granny gear climb, Marco riding next to you talking on his cellphone then having him turn to you, absolutely deadpan, and say "false flat".  I almost fell off my bike laughing

Indeed!  Marco and Elena, whilst riding together, are absolutely not sharing gear or drafting (in fact, they emailed the organisers pre-race to clarify what they could and couldn't do).
