This is my first post on these forums, so hello everyone!



I'm just back from a night bivvying with a tarp (Peak District, Uk) where I was eaten alive by midges- to the point that I couldn't sleep and essentially 'hid' in my bivvy with the hood closed over only exposing the smallest gap to breathe through. Even with that I am now the proud owner of around 50 itchy bites all over my body.

Can anyone here recommend a decent (lightweight) mosquito net to bring on short bike trips?  Any cheap/homemade solutions around?
