I thought it was about time that this thread got bumped up again for a central discussion point.

I'm now concentrating on organising my transport to the start of the ride and true to form, not giving a second thought to how I will get home... that's for exhausted Adam to think about in March.

I would be keen see some of the rigs being used, etc.  Personally, I'm trying decide if the cyclo set-up will be more advantageous than the rigid MTB tourer.  Will slow trails and fast roads be easier than fast trails and slow roads?

I stayed at the AWA Driftwood before the 2013 TD.  It was about half the price of the Y and still had access to all the facilities of the hotel next door.

Well I'm in the spreadsheet, so I guess that's it, I'm in!  Because the new bike, flights and 6 weeks off works were't commitment enough for me
So after 5 years of wanting I'm finally "penning" my letter of intent.  Now all I need to do is keep on smashing the last month of training and hope that the last 5 years of riding have given me enough of a solid base to keep on pluggin away every day to get me to Mexico!
